Hard Light Poster Design
The challenge here was to create an original poster concept based on the name of one the blending modes from Adobe Photoshop. Immediately I thought of Hard Light and how it might be represented as the name of a symposium or perhaps a film on the effects of global warming. I used bold and contrasting typography to portray the serious nature of the issue, and the ray-like texture of the lower portion or the bold typeface was reminiscent of the sun’s rays reinforcing the concept.
